Once Aceves got his act together...the pen really stabilized I think. It is not a great pen but coming from where they were...hard to complain and very hard to call them the weakness of this team.

Exactly.... The implosion against the yankees will have our bullpen era inflated for awhile, there's really only been 2 or 3 "horrible" outings other than that...

So... I saw the first 3 innings of this Boston-Baltimore game. Then I biked w/my gf to Anaheim Stadium, saw Pujols' first HR of season/angels career & the blue jays lose (woo-hoo!)

Now I'm home... 5 1/2 hours later... and WE'RE STILL PLAYING??? Holy s***!!

Middlebrooks time as a starter is set by that grand slam, huh?

where's his power?

Thing is he is not even trying to put a power stroke on the ball...at some point having him in the 4 hole is just completely ridiculous...hell lets put Sweeney there...how about d-mac....what the hell does it matter.

At best Agons has the swing of a guy you have in front of your 4 not being your 4

I wonder whether this issue is about his approach AB or his mechanics or a fear to get another injury or simply a damn slump.

btw, Peddy is the only one leaving the heart on the field, as always.

The thing is...you really can't look at injury as the rational for AGons to be batting ahead of Pedey in this lineup. It is honestly just dumb. ML baseball teams are not that stupid. They see the flaw and are just pitching around Pedey to get to AGons.

hey Gonzo' date=' Pedroia gives a s***.[/quote']

Seriously. In the Friday night game I thought Gonzo had a chance for that ball that went between he and Pedey. The game winning hit. Pedey is on the ground and Gonzo is basically looking at it. Major disappointment.

Chris Davis??? LMAO. No excuses. Time to win.

if this team had the half of Peddy's hearts this team would be a lot better in the standings.
