Well it's actually 7 and 1/3 because it's not the 9th inning. When he's throwing in the 9th and has 1 out, is he going to have thrown 9 and 1/3 innings?

 

Oh and by the way, coming into this game, the Rays had the 2nd best OPS in the AL behind the Tigers. They put up 4 ER on Verlander. They put up 5 ER on Sabathia.

 

They've been a pretty good offense this season.

I heavily despise Evan longoria. I really want him and Luke Scott to be forced into a gladiatorial deathmatch with the winner having to take on a roided grizzly bear.

Sorry about that...right 7 and 1/3. Still think there is something wrong with him and still don't think his offspeed stuff is good enough to get away with 91-92 to good hitting teams. I think it is something like 94 pitches for 8 full now.

tell you what if he gets hitters misguided with his FB changeup this way then i am all for it.. just give credit where its due..

i do agree to an extent though that even though they got timely hits against CC and Verlander it was at Trop.. that place is tough for visiting team..

And you think the reason he got hit hard was velocity?!?! I don't care if he was throwing 105, he was throwing middle middle middle. That's why he was getting torched.

 

Today' he's living on the black. That's the difference.
