Could anyone else see this offseason going very bad for him? Every suitor seems to be dropping and the image Boras has painted of him seems more and more of a facade every day.

I understand many pro football players NEED to be large but they are supposed to be very highly conditioned to carry that weight. There is no need for fielder to be eating 24 big macs every night.

 

Anyway -- he'll probably go AL, but San Francisco Giants should be the ones buying him. Shame on them. If they added Fielder their offense would be perfect to compensate that incredible pitching.

Fielder is a vegetarian and his body type is deeply rooted in his genetics. Have you ever seen his dad? Same type of build. Fielder will always be a big boy, there's just no changing that. He eats healthy though, so while "fat", I'm sure he's in great shape.
