Im sorry, I felt this way neccessary. Being a big boston sports fan I will never love any other NHL team as much as I love the Redwings. They have been my team since I was a small child, always watching them play would make my day. So, lets have some friendly discussion about the Redwings here!

I was a Red Wings fan as a kid, and I still kind of support them to an extent. It's going to be interesting to see how the team plays when Lidstrom is gone and guys like Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Bertuzzi, Holmstrom, Cleary, etc. continute to get older. They have some nice young talent with guys like Tatar, Smith, etc. but they will have to really become great players if they are going to keep the Wings near the top of the NHL.

What's funny is in the late 90's and in 2002 the same thing was said except the names were Yzerman, Shanahan, Hull, Robataie and Hasek. The Red Wings always continue to draft and develop well. Fanzen, Zetterberg, and Datsyuk weren't highly regarded prospects.
