PLEASE stop feeding the media.

PLEASE stay off the stage. Step AWAY from the microphone. Go about your business and let the players go about theirs.

You have embarrassed yourself. You have offered your explanation for why you embarrassed yourself. Nothing could possibly abate the embarrassment of your EPIC CHOKE any more. You have said all that could be said and done all the possible damcon. Mission accomplished.

NOW SHUT UP!

I do not want to HEAR any more about this failed team and its disastrous collapse. I do not want to hear about how a manager I loved was forced out, and how the GM who ended our national suffering is now somewhere else with an organizational drone taking his place. These things are painful. Do you think we enjoy pain as fans? Come back when you, as an organzation, have demonstrated that you have a plan for how to turn this team around and get us moving in the right direction. Until then, STOP pouring pepper in the wounds of an entire nation of fans just because you're a group of compulsive talkers!

I am DONE with the Red Sox this year. I want to lose myself in the Pats and Bruins until Truck Day. It's the best way for me to move on from what happened and move towards forgiving the team for breaking my heart this season.

STOP MAKING THAT IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!

That is all.

I want to hear public apologies for the behavior, not excuses and explanations. I'm a pretty forgiving guy. If player after player acknowledged his role in what went on, admitted it was wrong, and promised the fans that it would never happen again, I would be fine with this. Then we can all put it to rest. So far we have heard a lot of excuses and explanations....and few apologies (Lester, to his credit, admitted that the beer drinking was "wrong").

How about putting all this ******** behind us and just get ready for next year. If that september collapse doesn't light a fire under this team's ass then we have no hope. This offseason has already become a mess. We're only in mid-october. I'm sick and tired of all this nonsense with this team. Season is over forget about this s***.

If we are going to be discussing what the media writes about, this is what we will be discussing for a long time.

I work in the media as a journalist and I'm glad this has come out. Hopefully it makes these millionaire prima donna's more accountable and changes the clubhouse culture for te good.

I doubt the Red Sox clubhouse is any different from other teams.

This is a team that went 80-40 through the middle of the year.

The September collapse was not due to the "clubhouse." It was due to the manager

and GM--and the coaching. The team was not ready for prime time September--just like it was not ready to start the season.

The media will forget about this in a jiffy--as soon as it has something else to write about.

And they'll have plenty to write about soon--especially if Lucchino plays hardball with the

Cubs about Epstein.

I'm not buying it mate. These guys are grown men. They tuned Tito out. Lester admits that. Tito called a meeting after the Toronto game because he knew things weren't going well at all. It doesn't matter what they did at the start or in the middle of the season, when it counted they didn't commit themselves to winning.

The clubhouse was the problem. Sorry but you don't go 2 - 17 in 4 weeks for no reason. There were huge problems in the clubhouse. Maybe it wasn't the entire reason for the collapse but it had a lot to do with it. And to lay blame all on Tito and Theo is a bit rich. These dudes are grown men, if you respect your manager who apparently means alot to you and your family you don't take advantage of him.

Manager's problem. If he can't solve it, he has to go upstairs.

It's possible the whole organization was soft, which created the wrong climate for the players.

Games are won and lost on the field. And it was clear these guys weren't playing as a team,

even when they were winning. That was a comment I heard from one of those ex-player

TV commentators, Rick Sutcliffe, during a game. I thought the same at the time.
