Cardinals barely snuck into the playoffs with an amazing September comeback. As their reward, they face the juggernaut that is the Phillies. Seems like the 2011 Phillies were built for the postseason. We'll see.

Can anyone believe that Molina has thrown out 44% of baserunners in his career. That's remarkable. I can't imagine how much better the Sox would be if they could prevent half of the SBs against them... jesus.

Third straight playoff loss for Lee

Cards have the potential to win this series, they were even 6-3 against Philly in a regular season.

Cards will scrap for 5, I'm picking Halladay though to be the deciding factor. So unfair how the Phils entire rotation for the playoffs consists of aces. I just don't see how the Phils could possibly lose. It was sort of like how do you beat the 01 D-Backs when Schilling and Johnson were pitching 4 games per series, except this time, it's how do you somehow beat any mix of these guys 3 or 4 times? Playoffs definitely is odd though, so anything can happen.

Cards already eliminated. They just dont know it yet.

What? They're up 5-2 in the 8th.

Regardless. Enjoying so many games this post season. No Sox. No stress. Bring on 2012. In the meantime.... GO TEAM:lol:

Am I the only one watching this game? :dunno:

I'm watching it.

So far I've gotten all 3 of my predictions correct (Brewers, Rangers, Tigers). I picked Phillies here, but am absolutely fine with a Cardinals upset.

By the way, this is one of the absolute best post seasons in recent memory, beginning on Sept 28th, game 162.

Well. At least NESN isn't the only station with atrocious camera work on fly balls to the warning track...

I thought that ball was 15 rows deep based on the angle that TBS used.

Oh and yes it is a great post season! I am SO enjoying it. Making the best of everything considering how our Sox finished.

Molina is a thug but he's a decent catcher.

Actually, any catcher compare to the Red Sox's catchers are great in comparison. lol
