UK Sox Fans

Trying to find out if there are many Sox fans on here based in UK. I know I have spotted someone in Dublin.

 

Let me know folks, would be good to have peoples contact details etc.

Would like to sort a trip over for some games next season if people are interested.

 

P.S Please can everyone carry out every supersticion they know to sort a win tonight and a TB loss.

I'm a big Sox fan based in Manchester! went to my first game in 1994 and went to 3 games in the 2007 World Series winnig season.

 

Also been to Yankee stadium (the old one) and saw them lose to Oakland the day that Papi hit a 3 run walk off homer against Texas! was sweet!

 

went to 2 Blue Jays games last year which was pretty good.

 

Ironically I'm also an Everton season ticket holder and that fact the John Henry owns the Sox and Liverpool makes me cringe!!!

 

Derby Day tomorrow! come on you Blues and regroup for next year Sox!

 

Ship Lackey out! I saw him pitch for the Angels in 2007 at Fenway and he was awful! Fenway is not his kind of ballpark at all!

Got to see the sox this year playing the rangers in Dallas when the bats where hot! Disappointing that Ortizy and Youki where both injured at the time!

I'm gutted to see the collapse this year.

i wouldnt jump up and say im a "die hard fan", but ive started watching the baseball this year due to having ESPN america on my television package.

 

and i have to say, i was genuinely surprised by how much i enjoyed watching the games.

 

and being a Liverpool fan, sure i had to allign myself to the red sox

No mate i am about 40 miles from Birmingham.

You will love it the more you get into it, ive been watching this game since 93 when it used to be on sky.

Baseball, football and music are my main hobbies.

Unfortunately as a season ticket holder at Bimingham City both sports teams have treated me badly over the past few months!

I'm a new member on here but have been a Red Sox fan for about 10 years. I live in London but have an aunt and cousins who live in Boston and have supported the Sox ever since I went to Fenway when I was about 14.

 

Gutted by how the season ended and it's going to be an interesting off season... I'm also a Tottenham Hotspur season ticket holder so at least I have the football to occupy me all off season!

i have to say im still just getting to grips with some of the rules of the game at the minute,

 

and even more so the transfer system in baseball,

 

its alot more different to what we're used to with football teams.

 

i was only looking at the tigers and yankees game the other day and i sat there and said, "hmmm, why dont the red sox just buy Cabrera and Sabbathia, that would be a start"

 

but it just doesnt work that way in America.
