The wife and I FINALLY got to Fenway to see our first games a couple of weeks ago. What an AWESOME place to see a ball game!! We loved it sooooo much that we are thinking of making it a bi-annual trip! Here are some pics from the games we went to.

 

First day we took a tour of Fenway. IT WAS AWESOME!! It's a pretty cool place to be! Here are the pics:

Those are phenomenal pics man. Seriously. The pics of Ellsbury and Ortiz are especially crisp. Did you use a special camera, settings or anything? Or just a nice camera?

You could do a Boston trip pretty cheap from Miami. You can find $100-150 roundtrip flight, get some cheap weeknight tickets, and find a cheap place to stay, and its pretty affordable.

I made the maths and only the roundtrip flight from Monterrey-Mexico City-Boston is around 1,250, plus ticks, hotel, party, restaurants, souvenirs, etc. would cost me around 3,000, I think

 

So... I'm starting to save ....

 

Hell, it's more expensive than go to Europe.

Wow, thanks everybody!

 

No professional here, I used a Pentax DSLR (K10D) with a telephoto zoom lens for the close ups and a better zoom lens for the rest. I do think that I will make a photo book of these to remember our first trip to Fenway! The second game that all of the close ups came from we had great seats (Lodge Box 159 row BB against the rail, 13 rows from the field).

 

I thought they turned out pretty good for an amateur!
