I think that's very good as well. It's nice to see the team isn't in lie down and die mode. I can see us catching fire in the playoffs, we're 1 on up with 3 left against Shitimore. It's all good, we need to keep the faith because the players are.

I agree that the Sox shouldn't rely on the Rays to lose. It should also be noted that the Red Sox need someone else to come through in the clutch besides Ellsbury. Even though he's my favorite player (and has been since 2007) even I will admit that he can't do everything. Ortiz used to be "that guy" in the clutch, but the torch has been passed and Jacoby needs some help. Just because the pitching and defense has croaked, that doesn't mean the offense can follow suit

I dont get why he's not being re-signed yet. Ortiz should have a damn statue in Boston.

I don't think AdGon is the same hitter right now he was earlier in the season. No power.

Must be his shoulder has weakened, as they admitted. Combined with Youks being hurt, that's also a big factor.
