lester, beckett have expectations that most of their starts should be of quality

 

when you start getting into the 4 and 5 guys in a rotation, we should expect SOME quality starts, and thats what the red sox get from the 4 and 5 starters, some quality starts. if you expect 7 IP 5H 2R outta the four and five guys every night then start watching Curling or find a good valium dealer, it'll be a lot easier on your nerves

I am not losing faith on the team but i want the division this year for the simple fact that they will be home throughout the playoffs.Also because i feel we are much better then the yankees although the games are played on the field.

The Gerbil was the manager in 78

Ralph Houk came in after him in the early 80's and Johnny Mac took over in 84 or 85, i believe. Zimmer is the first manager i remember, before him i'd have to look it up but i think darrell johnston preceded Zimmer cuz he was manager when they went to the series in 75
