Searching for an old bat

Hello! Sorry for my english. I'm a spanish girl from Canary Islands.

I'm writing here because my father has lost an old bat that he bought in Boston about 1986, when he was studying at Berklee College of Music.

I'm not sure if this bat is an official bat of Red Sox but I think so.

It was an aluminium bat with violet stars and black plastic handle.

Do anybody remember some bat like the one I'm describing?

I would like to find it and buy it again for him. It's so important for me, because my mum was pregnant of me that year in Boston.

Well it wasn't an official Red Sox bat if it was aluminum, that's for sure. I don't think the Red Sox endorse bats that aren't made of wood. It sounds like a pretty standard hardware store baseball bat to me
