and you ate almost 1 yr and 20 MUSD btw.

I got your point, and all the stats indicate that he should come back to earth, just hope that this come back begins at least this October; we still have great chance to run for the WS... next 6... Hope so...

I've said it before. If Crawford can come out in October and put up big numbers and help win a WS, he will be JD Drew'ed and all will be forgiven for the season.

Well I'm moving to Boston. Can you get me a job?

Maybe after we become much more familiar with each other you can forward your CV to me.

What do you do?

I'm an accountant. 2 years in public (audit), 2 years in governmental. Looking for either internal audit, or senior staff level. Halfway through MBA program, getting hours to sit for CPA.

We were suppose to be baseball buddies. :(

Go to Coral Gables, find Vizcaino, Gitlin, and Zomerfeld CPA's, and ask them whats going on. They said they would get back to me (regardless of decision) in early August, but never did. I emailed them to get a status update, no reply. Emailed my other contact there, no reply. Like they fell off the face of the earth. Very strange and unprofessional IMO.

Cool. You should have no problem finding work with your background. And to be clear, I have nothing to do with bean counting. And the only people that I may consider recommending for employment at my company are three individuals I have known and worked with for a combined total of forty years.

Wonder how far away JD Drew is from a rehab stint. Reddick has been looking a little overmatched lately. If Drews shoulder really was hurt, and he can come back and give us that hot month in September or October, he could be a huge help.

By the way - I will hate on D-Mac all day, but he really stepped it up today. And Lavarnway is 5-11 with a double and 2 RBI in this series. Nice to see some of the guys step it up a little.

Ah no problem man. Not a big deal at all. But if you hear of anything in the area in other firms, shoot me a message. I've got a few thinks cooking up there, but no guarantees.

When you're pitching Beckett - Miller - Wakefield - Lester, and your offense is without Youk, Ells, and Ortiz, it's tough to ask for more than 3/4. Keep the momentum going into tomorrows game.

Yay a win. Nice to see some guys stepping up in the absence of the good hitters. The Texas series should be tough.

Excellent game! In fact, it is the first time I have watched an entire game all season!!! Can you believe that?

6 more years left.

Woah what is this? I'm president of the club.

Devil is in the details. My club is that Crawford IS a bust. Cause he is. Have fun with your cute little club though. Mine is clearly superior/more correct cause he's bad.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that. If that's the case do what Spudboy said and move on, f*** them. I know how you feel I've applied to at least 20 different stores not one single bitch called me back to at least say they're not hiring. Wasting my time fillin oit job apps and s*** it's annoying how they won't give me a small effort and giving me a heads up. Well good luck in Boston. Btw are you without a job right now? Or are you still working and going to drop once you find a new job? Anyways, I want to become a cop and I'd love to work in Boston haha. Only thing is the cold weather which is a bitch.

 my bad and yeah 1 season makes you a bust...

Lester held them down through 6 and the offense got a handful of runs through 6 and insurance late. Lester and Beckett need to carry them for a while. The Texas series could be ugly unless Ortiz sheds his boot and Ellsbury comes back.

Reddick 0-4 with 2 k's. He's now under .300. I'm not hating on the kid. He has a live bat and he's a good fielder with a strong arm, but slumps like this by a kid have to be expected. The So x are rolling the dice that he will make the necessary adjustments and start hitting again. I am risk averse. I'd still get someone to play RF. I don't think DMac is the answer.

Edit:

From the Globe after the game:

• Josh Reddick's road to the Hall of Fame has hit a new bumps. He is hitting .226 in August with four RBIs. The Game 1 playoff starter in right field could be just about anybody at this point. The candidates include Reddick, J.D. Drew, McDonald, Ryan Kalish and the ever popular Mystery Guest Off The Waiver Wire.

1 season? Dude. You're giving him entirely too much credit. Crawford has played, wait for it....99 games. Yup. Complete bust. Screw the remaining 6.25 seasons, he's a bust. :dunno:

It's crazy how often elite talent just evaporates at the age of 29. Oh, wait....it doesn't....

I'm still waiting for the Yankees' schedule to get tough. Though they seem to play better than the Sox against the bad teams. Do the stats show that?

I'm almost certain the stats would show that. The Yankees absolutely destroy the likes of the Orioles, Royals, Twins, etc. They simply rarely lose to them.

Now, their record against us is a different story

Against teams .500 or below, the Yankees are 41-17, good for a .707 win percentage. In comparison, the Red Sox are 36-22, good for a .621 percentage.

So the difference is noticeable, but not enormous. Unfortunately, the Yankees have the A's and Orioles over their next 8 games. They're a combined 14-2 against them.

Going to be an interesting game tonight. Very possible that we match up against the Rangers at some point in the post season, whether it's the ALDS or the ALCS. If it's the ALDS, and Bedard comes out tonight and gives us 6-7 IP, 2 ER baseball, he may make the decision a little easier on Francona.

Okay, I'm saying this now. Don't be surprised if Lackey blows on Tuesday, Texas hits him very well. That said, I am still president of this fine club and his ERA is still in the mid 3's since the break. That is all. And would it be douchey of me to take credit for the cropping up of all these different clubs? :D

EDIT: And all 4 games televised? f*** yes.

No Ortiz' date=' Ellsbury and Youkilis against the Rangers. Little chance of success.[/quote']

Unreal. Seems like these past few years, we lose guys in bunches. We can never lose them one at a time.
