Is it worth it? Normal or Premium?

I recently moved to CA and I don't know when I am going to setup cable, like, getting the MLB (& NFL packages) allowing me to watch Red Sox & Patriots.

How is MLB.TV? Is it just like watching the Sox on TV or is it limited/stationary angles? Or what? I noticed the price just dropped $20 on both Normal & Premium.

Thanks -

I love it and there's so many ways you can watch it. Computer, Phones, gaming systems, etc. I usually get the premium for the HD but normal is fine. The price didn't drop 20 dollars you must have read that wrong. If it did then you'd be paying like 80-90 dollars. For the rest of the season it's like 24 dollars. That's pretty good I'd hop on that if I were you.

It is awesome man!, it comes in HD, and you can watch the games even in the cell phone, ipad, ps3, or just connect your computer through the TV.

If you want to watch several games at the same time, buy the premium pack. I thing that it is not that expensive given the value.

$24?

Okay, I need to get a hookup. You said I could watch it via gaming system -- I have an xbox 360, how do I make that happen? I should get a HDMI cord so I can hook it up to my big screen.

I don't know about 360. I know they have Netflix but not sure about MLB.TV. My ps3 has it so check around. I'm going to find the link to where it said it was like 20 somthing for the rest of the year. I just got the email a couple days ago but can't find it :thumbdown

Anyone that is subscribed to MLB.com should have that email. If you could please look for it to save me some time lmao. Thanks.

I never got that email! :(:thumbdown

I can't find the damn link in my email. Just to show you I'm not talking out of my ass though here's a link to people who are curious about getting mlb.tv for 25 dollars. Check the date they posted as well, it wasn't too long ago.

Ahh... Yeah, I wasn't part of the final vote for All-Star. Oh well. If its worth it regardless I might still just purchase it. I like listening on WEEI but I really want to watch...

I prefer it, nice to have the game on my iPod touch and than I can check what stats and scores I want when I want. You can also watch a couple games at one time which is cool. My job has me in a car with a computer. My account also let's me log in and listen to the radio broadcast when I am working. I have my Mac mini hooked up to my big screen tv and watch most games on it. One of my sons is a Twins fan so he watches them through the PS3.

I wish the NFL would come up with something like this.

I'm about to move back to college in around a week, so I'm planning on getting it. What's the best package to go with for the final two months? I thought I'd just buy it by the month for $20 each, but apparently there's a better deal out there for the rest of the season?

Also, how do you get it on your PS3, RSFFL? I have Netflix on there but that came with it.

There's a deal for MLB.TV premium like I said earlier in the thread. It was 25 bucks, I got the email but could never find it on the web for some reason. I think it might have something to do with the final vote for the all star game. If you voted you should have got the email.

Anyways, to get it on your ps3 go to the playstation store. On the side where all the task bars are(new releases, demos, etc.) I think there is one that say media. You should be able to find it there. It hardly takes up any space too which shocked me.

Have had MLB.TV for 6 years now, and must say its fantastic. Since i live in Norway and some of the games go in the middle of the night, its nice to see them in archive after work. Never miss out the games :-) But offcourse i watch all the games live on mlb.tv when i can in weekends and when the games starts early.

Hey, I have a PS3 and I have a subscription to MLB.tv, and I cannot figure out how to watch the games using the PS3. I have been using my laptop but it will be a lot nicer to watch the games on tv. If anyone could tell me how to do this then that would be most appreciated.

Thank You

Go to the playstation store and go to the left where it sorts everything out(demos' date=' games. new releases etc.) Look for media and you should be able to find mlb.tv there.[/quote']

I couldn't find it either RSSFL.

I don't know where it is.
