I dont even want an ace but Miller ain't no WS pitcher this year. Beckett & Lester got it. Buch we havent seen in so long now who knows... injury ridden rotation. Lackey is mediocre.

What do you mean WS pitcher?!? You go with a 3 man rotation in the WS. 4 max. And Lackey is our 4th man. We have zero offense in the NL parks because our RF is incredibly exploited.

The whole crap about our rotation being injury ridden is overrated. Beckett's getting pulled was just a precautionary move and Lester's injury isn't serious. Buch's gotten good new on his back as well and should be starting a rehab stint soon. While I do think another pitcher could help, we're not in as dire straits as some people seem to think.

I was just looking this up, but Darnell has great numbers vs Price. Before that HR, he has hit .333 with a 1.078 OPS vs Price in his career.

You know what? Reading the paper this morning, Darnell is hitting .250 over the past week. While hitting him this high in the order is a head-scratcher(except against Price), I think I and a lot of other people jumped the gun on him. He's a capable defender and I'll take a .250 bat off the bench. Maybe he just needed some time to find himself after coming off the DL.

RF is exploited because you have no DH, which can cover up that hole. But when you depend on your RF to be your #5 hitter, you're in really bad shape.
