... and why is McDonald batting 2nd? I guess Tito knows more about every aspect of these players than we do' date=' so we must all be wrong.;)[/quote']

I don't even know why McDonald is on the roster, much less hitting 2nd. I hope he joins Mike Cameron.

Reddick triples. Sutton drives in the run. Of course, Hamels is out but Reddick already had a hit on him.

Conclusion: Reddick never sits again. McDonald can now be DFA, also.

What just happened? GameCast says we scored a run. What is that? Does that mean one of our players advanced around the bases and touched home plate before there were three outs? My memory is fuzzy on that.

What else is needed to happen, to give that spot to Reddick but as a everyday player Francona, what?

...and just like that our lineup waked up.

Jacoby!

Oh and of course after Jacoby has a good AB, McDonald makes a 1 pitch out.

Becoming a classic!

Josh Reddick is goin ham

Points at Palodios sig*

Who would have thought the Sox would score off the 6th and 7th hitters of this lineup? DFAing Cameron must be a good omen.

DFAing McDonald will be an even better one.

Pitcher at bat. Here's where I obsess about injury, not about a position player plying the OF. 1st and 3rd none out. Lester should bunt or just stand there. I'd prefer he just stand there so he doesn't have to run.

Be careful..the Rays have very' date=' very good pitching....and pitching does win....they also have a manager who can run rings around TIT-o....might not mean much, but it certainly is an advantage for them....[/quote']

i agree with you that the rays are a very good team. i live in tampa and see them all the time. my only point is that they have some good pitching ( that on occasion run hot and cold) but their bats really aren't there. joyce was a beast for a while, but he's slowed. Longo has been mediocre, so i just don't see them really streaking and winning the division. just lingering and probably beating a couple of times like they always seem to do....

I agree with you...I don't see them winning the division either...however, they are a wild card threat and if the Sox keep winning big and then losing big.....they will be a factor.....Sox could end up looking up at two teams and missing the playoffs.....

Did JD come to the plate with a service dog?

Nah, but he made hi exposure as painless as possible..one pitch and goodbye...less painful than watching him look at 3 strikes....
