Wait a tick.... Reddick is out of the game now?! What the hell? He went 1-1 after Cameron/Mcdonald went 0-6' date=' and that does earn him time? This is unreal.[/quote']OMG!! The bat wasn't used to him getting a hit. It just disintegrated upon contact. Probably had dry rot.

I absolutely refuse to believe this is happening. I must either be dreaming or in some sort of coma. I'm going to strip real quick and wave my junk at a passing police car just to see if this is real life. Be right back.

On one hand' date=' he works with what he's given. His only other options were Drew and Reddick in the outfield. If it were me, I would probably have started McDonald and Cameron too, in hopes that the top half of the lineup would score enough and Lester would hold the weaker Pirates lineup down. Then, if needed, you have two marginally better outfielders available to PH late in the game. Honestly, the only decision he made that I disagree with is the order in which the last half of the lineup was constructed. I would have gone Scutaro-Tek-Cameron-Mcdonald instead of the other way around. But honestly, he doesn't have a lot to work with in the outfield until Crawford comes back.[/quote']

Reddick is hitting .409/1.098 and is on the bench for nearly the whole game. Mike Cameron starts and is hitting .094 since May 30 with an OPS of .227; and for the season he is hitting .161/.514.

I don't know how you can possibly support that decision.

....word of advice, pepper spray is equally uncomfortable when absorbed through certain parts of the body on which the skin is very thin. Also, go Drew!

Again, when you have a strong 1-5, it makes sense to hold off your better PH options just in case. If the Sox are down by one in the 8th, I don't want McDonald and Cameron to be the only PH options for the 9-spot with runners on.
