Because you're gaining an edge without any expense at the personal health and career of other players?? :dunno:

This. Someone is doing something TO THEIR OWN BODIES. It's their own business really. Cheating, yes, but how does that even compare to going and inflicting an injury on someone else?

I leave for like half an hour and come back and read through the posts and see this Jacko s***? Teixiera was hit by accident. Anyone who intentionally throws at someone to cause an injury is a piece of s***' date=' regardless what the other team did. It's not eye for an eye, it's not part of the game. I increasingly find it hard to believe you're a doctor. I wouldn't expect a person who's responsibility is to save lives and care for people to be such a cold bitter dick[/quote']

In all fairness, doctors have to do some pretty bad s*** sometimes, even pulling someone from life support. To live with yourself, you have to be pretty unemotional I'd think.

Regardless, "headhunting" is an effective method of regaining the plate and showing that you dont take s*** from anyone. It doesnt mean you have to hit them. Just put the fear of god in them. You guys dont agree, so be it.

There is a difference between pushing a batter from the plate and wanting to end his career. /argument.

I dont have anyone to back me up because the Yankee fans all went to bed. I can handle it.

Yankee fans don't go to bed. They crawl back into their caves to admire their chinstraps in the mirror and practice their annoying accents.

Baseball is a sport. What does my profession have anything to do with it? The threat of physicial injury is in all sports' date=' why should we make baseball an exception?[/quote']

Yes, the threat of physical injury is a part of all sports. Obviously. But it's different in each sport. It's acceptable for another guy to injure another guy in sports like football and hockey, etc, but that's because of physical contact. Even in those sports it's not acceptable to intentionally injure someone else. Baseball isn't a contact sport, and just about any injury that should be sustained from it should be from accidental contact, like sliding into catchers/on bases or from naturally occurring injuries. Throwing a pitch at someone's weak spot on their body like a knee or elbow or head is cowardly and borderline cheating.

I'm going to bed. When I wake up in the morning, I will hear news of how the Yankee's new 8th inning guy, Amauri Sanit, gave up a grand slam in the 8th, and the Red Sox win it.

For agreeing with someone? Mad because you don't have anyone to back up your stupid ass comments? Eat s*** douche.

No, because you told him it was hard. Figured that was a pass at him. Sounds like I might have been right.

You arent ending his career. You guys are so dramatic.

But you could be. Every single time you throw at someone's head (or knee) you could be ending their career. There's no place in baseball for intentionally doing something that could have this result. If you want a guy off the plate, then pitch inside. If you hit someone while pitching inside, OK, that's an accident, not intentional. Are you following here? Intent.....
