Wow Buchholz has really just been terrible.
Sometimes a guy just doesn't have it. The manager is supposed to be able to figure that out before every fan and take the pitcher out before he blows up the game. Tito always lets them blow up the game. Always!!

Andrew Miller faced 1 batter in 7th...Robinson Chirinos fouled off 4 pitches then singled. Finished w/ 0 BB, 9 K (100 pitches/69 strikes)

That's 13 IP, 2 BB, 13 K in his last 2 games. Ring, ring.

Yeah. Which is exactly why Outman was pulled after 4, but Buchholz goes out there for the 5th and gets ripped.

It also doesn't help us that we're making some journeyman reliever look like a stud.

This just in from the Red Sox medical staff. They announced that at this time of the year --after approximately one-quarter of the season- there is a common phenomenon that occurs with some managers. They frequently go through a "dread brain" period. The medical staff has diagnosed Tito with this syndrome. He will have to ride it out. They recommend a diet with plenty of fish, anti-oxidant foods, and plenty of rest (which he can get during the games). He should be back to his standard managerial stupidity in about 10 days to 2 weeks. He'll be right back on par with Maddon and Girardi in no time said the team doctor. In the meantime, the team will have to rely more heavily on the bench coach.

this team is so insanely frustrating to watch. Men on 1st and 2nd with nobody out, down by 1, and we can't even advance them to 2nd and 3rd. That's high school stuff. Seriously

If Lowrie and Cameron can't hit, our team is horribly weak against average LHP.

i'm pissed off too, and lately against under .500 teams and at home, it is just unacceptable.

I'll take the 28 year old superstar at the height of his skills any day over a washed up 38 year old OFer with a hernia.

Yeah. Let's judge the 7 year contract of Carl Crawford on June 3rd of his first year. That seems legit.

Dont worry , I'll bring it up for the full 8 years ;)

Here's the bottom line. This s*** offense of the A's should never score 6 runs against us. If the starter doesn't have his stuff, the bullpen should be able to handle them, but Tito has a bullpen aversion before the 6th or 7th inning.

Oh , so its not about value now? its about a superstar VS a washed up 38 year old

I like how you change you're arguments

I'm not changing my arguments. Crawford is a better value at his annual salary than Cameron is. Cameron's money might as well have been flushed down the toilet. He brings nothing to the table at this point.
