Disregard... It's feeding now.

Reds is a fun team to watch.

Yup, the walkoff yesterday and the 2 run homer in the 1st today to tie. The Marlins are really impressing me though. Got to catch a couple of their games.

So does this mean I can make tomorrow's thread?

Talk about a bad time to start making threads. Felix - Weaver - Haren?

I feel as though my tenure may be short.

Yeah, if you win you get to make the next gamethread.

It's wierd though, we struggle against the scrub pitchers but do alright against the good ones. We do bad against below average teams but have no problem with the good teams.

Snowball 5, hell 0.

Wakefield outpitches Felix Hernandez, Jenks blows the lead, the rest of the bullpen is lights out, Ichiro commits an error, and CC walks off after driving in Lowrie.

Jenks blew a lead in Friday's loss and also in Sunday's win. On Sunday, he faced five men and retired one, allowing a hit and three walks. Jenks believes he has been coming more toward the dugout than to the mound during his delivery. "If there is a good note, I was looking at video, and I am mechanically off. With this, hopefully it's a quick fix," he said. "Everything's there. We're talking a few inches here, and obviously that can make a big difference out on the field. I've always been a guy known for throwing strikes. My walks have always been very low. This is very uncharacteristic. We found the reason why." If the big right-hander is right, he should return to being one of the American League's premier setup men.

Wow, sounds like Curt Young hard at work. We'll see how this turns out, but one of my biggest criticisms on Farrell was that he couldn't find these little mechanical flaws in a pitcher's repertoire.

He's finding this out now. WTF was spring training for.

Well. Considering he threw scoreless outings in his first 4 outings, I'd say this was not a problem during ST and he developed it during the year.

So are you telling me he did not notice it afterwards? The difference until now? And he just kept on doing it.

Yeah I'd say if he noticed it before this, he would have changed it.

Your giving him to much credit.

Yeah you're probably right. I'm sure Jenks doesn't give a s*** about his career and wants to fail and be boo'd off the field rather than to succeed and help this team win games and potentially a world series.
