Nothing could be better for this club than two days off in a row. They needed a reset in the worst way and a two day break in baseball is like a two week vacation for the rest of us. I obviously don't know what the field looked like, but I was out wandering near Fenway at 7ish last night and conditions were definitely playable. Sounds like it was a mental health day more than anything else. Hopefully the breather will help us refocus. In other encouraging news, Lowrie was supposedly penciled into shortstop last night for Scutaro. Can we make more of a habit of that plz?
