I wouldn't. I didn't play in any of the games, and I don't know any of the players personally. Why would I let something like some idiot bragging about an accomplishment, in which he did absolutely nothing to contribute, bother me?

Why is he a idiot? If the Redsox were winning we'd be breaking his balls to. Be honest the idiots are those poor loyal fans who took off from work to see this team tomorrow. I rather be in the office it's more fun there then being anywhere near a redsox broadcast/fenway. In fact it's only slightly better then soccer which I never seen 2 minutes of at this point.

i feel like i participate .by blowing money on buying merchandise,tickets etc.... watching every game .passing up on party's and s*** to watch them so yea i feel i have emotional attachment to the team .most of us do

Seriously. It's getting stupid. What are we supposed to be, Royals fans and sit around passively giving a damn whether the team wins or loses? Just because I don't suit up and go out there everyday myself doesn't mean I'm going to sit here and be like "oh well they lost".

 

Like I've said before, part of being a fan is being irrational and blindly following. I like being able to vent over the sox here. Life is pretty much a pain in my f***ing ass and instead of getting all angry and s*** over it and punching someone in the f***ing face or blowing my head off I can channel my frustration through the Red Sox. It's therapeutic in a sense.

 

If people are sick of the complaining and all that s*** then they can seriously f*** off and leave the forum. It's a fan forum for christ's sake, what do these people expect?

Basically what your telling me is it's ok for us Sox fans to say the team stinks, point fingers booo and so on, but when a Guardians fan who probably never seen his team win anything makes a comment at breaking the brooms out he's out of line?

I guarentee at some point when the Redsox win 8 of 10 you will be the first guy rubbing it in to the other fan base. Even as bad as the Redsox have looked for a good month and a half I still rather have our roster then Clevelands! If you want to go out and make multiple splashes in the offseason and be a fan of the Redsox when a small market team humps us all over the mistake by the lake your going to hear about it.
