Thanks for the reply. I thought that would be the case. I have considered extra innings, but a major point for me is that on the weekends games are blacked out if they are not the game of the week for fox on Saturdays and ESPN on Sundays three hours prior and post starts. Essentially this means no Red Sox on weekends unless on Fox or ESPN do to contracts they have with MLB.

Is there a website that I can watch games on? I live in Fort Myers and don't have access to NESN and I do not want to purchase mlb.tv. I watch the nationally televised games when I can' date=' but I hope to see more games this upcoming season. There used to be, but it stopped working. I can't even tell when the games are nationally televised. The Red Sox schedule isn't showing anything unless there's really not a nationally televised game until the all-star game

Today the game against the Twins is MLB's free game of the day, so if it isn't blacked out where you live you should be able to watch it for free

Thanks for the link! I've been looking for a "backdoor." The "blackout" policies are inane. In Hawaii, I'm blacked out of 6 markets (Seattle, Oakland, SF, 2 LA teams, and SD) even though I've purchased the MLB package. Geography, it seems, is not the strong suit of these decision makers.

Great place to watch Red Sox home games from the 6th inning on is Fenway Park. Always about 40% empty by the time the 6th rolls around. :thumbsup:

Gomes and Victorino are liabiliities. Gomes is a defensive liability and should not be used except as DH. Victorino is an offensive liability and should not be used. Starting outfield should be Bradley, Ellsbury, Nava.
