Holy crap Joe' date=' where is Martin?[/quote']

Cervelli's BA last year with RISP was absurd. Plus Martin's been playing too much lately and we are winning at the moment...

Please lets not have the argument that Cervelli's BA with RISP in 2010 means anything right now. Martin can play the last two innings, and this is the chance to go for the kill.

I think Sori was working on something there. He didnt even look like he cared.

Regardless, CC settled down, the defense was atrocious and the offense came up big. Jeter looked like he turned back the clock for a day. Hope we see more of this, cause if he starts hitting, then we're gonna be pretty good

Kind of funny to think about the way people talked about the Granderson trade through May of last year. Granderson is cementing himself as the best CFer in the AL, and he's in the conversation for all of baseball.

No argument here, he has been amazing this year. Although he plays for the Yankees hes always been one of my favorite players. Im glad I drafted him in the redraft.

If he can keep this up, yes. The statistical record suggests he's not likely to. It's not very common for a guy to put up an OPS almost .200 higher than his 5 year deep baseline at the age of 30. It could happen, but don't be surprised if it doesn't. If he slips back to his normal level of play, he's still short of where Sizemore probably ends up this year.

I think Granderson's first half of last season is more aberration than anything else. Also, his power will be helped by Yankee stadium. Wouldnt surprise me in the least if he ended up with 35HRs or so.

I'm not suggesting that he's going to maintain his current pace ... a .430 wOBA coming into tonight's game. But I think a wOBA between .370 and .380 is reasonable. Couple that with the defense he has played since coming here, and a 5+ WAR isn't out of the question.

If Sizemore regains his old form, than absolutely, he's better than Granderson. But despite the hot start, him sustaining that pace has to be a question mark, possibly as big as Granderson's.

I agree that he needs to come out. Although, I thought he's pitched pretty well thus far this game. He's facing one of the best offensives in the game and he's been pretty solid

Jeter is making a strong statement for the last few games that the rumors of his death are premature.

for 30 some games, he's looked dead. For 2 games, he's looked like vintage Jeter. If Long found a problem in the swing, then he could have a good season. If this is the last gasp of a dying career, then he wont

He has been so lucky. There have been about a half dozen rockets that have found gloves ... including Swisher's great play which would have led directly to at least one run.

But here's Joe being Joe. Who cares about the process when you can look at the result!

Really not sure how I feel about Robertson in the fireman role that Joe has relegated him to. His great K-rates help in these spots, but he often struggles with his command, which certainly can prove costly with little margin for error.
