Could be a fun exercise. Try and find good hitting pitchers and construct a beastly  lineup.

1. Mike Leake (.333/.407/.354 in 60 PAs, 2010)

2. Dontrelle Willis (8 HRs, 10 doubles, 5 triples in 413 PAs, .232/.279/.355)

3. Micah Owings (.293/.323/.538 for an .861 OPS in 198 PAs, 9 HRs, 14 doubles, 2 triples)

4. Carlos Zambrano (21 HRs, 24 doubles, 3 triples in 660 PAs, .236/.244/.387)

5. Yovani Gallardo (8 HRs, 10 doubles in 189 PAs, .218/.260/.418)

6. C.C. Sabathia (.258/.265/.381 in 101 PAs)

7. Adam Wainwright (2 HRs, 16 doubles, .223 BA in 337 PAs)

8. Jason Marquis (5 HRs, 29 doubles, 2 triples in 576 PAs)

9. Andy Sonnanstine (.318/.400/.364 in 27 PAs)

Josh Beckett?

I'll assume Mike Hampton ain't on the list because he's probably out of the league but he'd be batting 4th. I'll also take Rick Ankiel.... :)

I wouldn't say Ankiel because he's transformed himself to an outfielder. Had he still been a pitcher I bet he'd easily be on Keeper's lineup. I like your lineup keeper the only thing I would have changed is Andy Sonnanstine. I would have put Wade LeBlanc.

I mean im sure he could still go out on the mound if needed i mean Bill Hall did it last year, he may be a great sleeper for the list

Wow, finally this thread gets some love. Yeah, I didn't include Ankiel because he is no longer a pitcher. And while Hampton is still hanging around, he doesn't really play anymore.

I originally had Dan Haren in the 8th hole instead of Marquis, but at the time he hadn't been drafted yet in our league, so I didn't want to give anyone any ideas. Paranoid, I know.

I think that the exercise is to find Pitchers who can hit' date=' rather than Hitters who can pitch.[/quote']

I was just bringing up player just for the hell of it, but Casey Kelly is a good sleeper :D
