I'm in the kitchen most of the day, cranking up music, having about 15 people over here, if not more. Mashed taters, turkey, homemade dinner rolls, whatever the rest of the family brings, and I still have to make dessert. Love Thanksgiving, it's a great time, possibly my favorite holiday.

I think Epstein has a good record letting go of aging players who want to be paid on past performance.

Damon is a good example. He did not fit in Boston, but fit in NY because of the short RF porch, which lessened the need for him to play CF (which he lasted for 220 games there).

 

The track record for not signing 32yo players to long term contracts is pretty good. They should stick with it. Belichick/Kraft have the same philosophy--obviously. If Epstein doesn't sign Werth, you will know why. Same as VMart.
