Matt Ryan IMO

In order:

Matt Ryan, very closely followed by Sam Bradford and Joe Flacco, then Stafford, Sanchez, and Tebow

Pretty sure Peyton and tom and drew will still be better then most of them if they are still playing and i can see most of them still playing unless they get a bad injury, but its a coin flip between sam and joe

I said young QB's, thats why I only included those from the '08 '09 '10 drafts.

IMO it will be Matt Ryan - > Sam Bradford - > Mark Sanchez - > Joe Flacco (Flacco has been absolutely dreadful in five postseason games, 46.5 passer rating, perhaps that will change though) - > Matthew Stafford - > Tim Tebow

I can agree on this.

Mark Sanchez is absolutely terrible. The guy doesn't throw interceptions or fumble as much, but he's still ridiculously inaccurate, and can kill drives by himself, even with the receiving talent he has around him.

Matthew Stafford and Sam Bradford are probably the most skilled, but Matt Ryan has Tony Gonzalez and Roddy White to throw to, with Michael Turner at RB who is able to open up the pass attack. Tebow could be good if he fixed a few things, otherwise I doubt he's very effective at the professional level, and Flacco is sort of like Ryan right now in that he has very good weapons around him.

I'm going to take a chance here and say they get Bradford some guys to throw to, and go Bradford>Ryan>Flacco>Stafford>Sanchez>Tebow.

For the record, I only put Sanchez ahead of Stafford because of all of his injuries, and while he has the higher potential, he hasn't shown that he can stay on the field. Otherwise, ytrb and I had the exact same rankings.

There's no way at this rate that Sanchez is over Flacco. Mark Sanchez is inaccurate, and unable the read a defense. The guy was drafted high pretty much just because he played QB for USC (Where he wasn't even that great). But yeah, Braylon Edwards, Santonio Holmes, Jerricho Cotchery and Dustin Keller, but you still can barely complete half of your passes? No thanks.

Sanchez helped the Jets reach the AFC championship game, turning in a 92.7 passer rating in three playoff games, including a 139.4 mark in the wild-card round during his first year in the NFL.

Projecting what a rookie QB will be in five years is somewhat foolish since his development, performance, and perceived quality is largely contingent on how his team performs.

But, right now, Bradford.

Yeah, but Sanchez is such a liability that he'd almost be better off on the PUP list. The guy just flat out sucks ass. He has tons of weapons and he still can't do it. But yeah, Stafford has loads of potential if he can play a full season consistently.

Passer rating? Really? That argument doesn't fly. The only reason he had a 139 mark is because he threw 15 passes. Would you rather have a guy go for 185 yards on 12/15 completions with 1 TD and 0 INT or someone who throws for 300 yards, 20/30 completions, 3 TD and 1 INT, because if you picked the first guy, he has a higher QB rating, but obviously doesn't compare to the second guy.

He had games of 182 yards, 100 yards and 257 yards, with 60% completion rate, 2 interceptions and 4 TDs. That, and the fact that you're using a sample size of three games (where he was put on a short leash, btw) to compare to what Flacco's done much better for the last two years.

Passer rating isn't everything but when you compare a 92.7 passer rating in 3 playoffs games to a 46.5 passer rating in 5 playoff games, which guy are you more likely to choose?
