This is too tempting to pass up. I'll probably regret this but at this point, whatever. He's a good second back.

Ladainian Tomlinson

I think that the biggest problem (other than the fact that he wasn't the best back remaining in my opinion) was that you and I were the only ones without a 2nd RB. That means that you could have waited until your last pick to select a RB (since I'd be the only other one in danger of taking one)

The exception is that if the RB can be used for return purposes, much like Yankshater selected Darren Sproles.

FWIW... I selected McClain as my 2nd RB and Sproles as my 3rd and long RB with primarily return duties. I think it's worth to have two guys behind my starter who can do more than just being a RB. McClain can do it all, catch, run, and block, Sproles is my 3rd and long back, intended for passes out of the backfield, along with return.

Ben Roethlisberger, QB

oops, wrong player

Randy Starks, DT

It doesn't matter at this point. Since there isn't a backup QB, that means that you and ytrb are the only ones without QB's. That means that nobody except you or ytrb would draft a QB, so you'd be guaranteed to get one of your top 2 QB's. Even though a QB is one of the most important parts of your team, there's no point in picking a QB at this point because you're bound to get the one you want.

As a heads up to the two people without QBs, I plan on using one of my bench positions for a backup QB.

Likewise.

I also think it's too late in the draft to add positions. Say if there was actually a FB position, that may have changed how some people drafted.

I noticed those being added on' date=' but I don't think Kilo ever said anything about them, or if there were any guidelines behind them.[/quote']

I think they're just two backup positions, with no guidelines. You can draft players from whichever two positions you want.

Agreed. However I would like to know if, in addition to the two backups, we can draft an extra DT or ILB (depending on whether we're playing a 3-4 or a 4-3). The space already exists on the chart. I'd be in favor of that, because of the defensive flexibility it would allow for.

I figured that was going to be one of my backup picks. If we did do that, we'd have to add another position to the chart to make the draft fair (ie snake back both ways). Should we add say, a fullback?

Now I think that the picks of the draft are being changed now that people are discovering that there were backup positions.

I don't think anyone were going to start drafting backups until now, anyway.
