Not a bad article at all. It might be different now, so this article could be dated. Any thoughts on this article? What makes Sawx fans different than other Boston sports teams?

What I'm confused is that it's saying you can be a fan of what but you can't be a fan of that. Anyone help me on that?

The Celtic crowd that CHB describes sounds like Sox fans today.

 

Bruins fans sound like Pats fans today (minus the small fan base).

 

Pats Fans sound like Bruins fans today.

 

Redsox fans he describes are the old days, before pink hats. Most still applies to the hardcore fans....fans like us who spend our time on an internet forum battling other people in opinion....who for the most part we have never met, yet treat each other like best friends at times.
