Does Kohler make hoses, because it looks like Dustin Johnson is going to get hosed on a stupid interpretation of the rules.

 

It will be a shame if he doesn't make the playoff.

Look at all the dudes wearing their golf shoes to watch the tournament. It's not like those things are the most comfortable foot attire. That's like wearing your cleats to Fenway.

Agreed. Didn't watch, but just saw the highlights of it on Sportscenter. That's ridiculous that they're going to hold it against the guy.

I find it hard to watch Golf. What's up with Tiger Woods lately? Sportscenter makes him seem like he sucks.

He does, right now. They still show every shot from his round, and report on what color shirt he's wearing, what he had for breakfast, the size/color/shape/stink of his bowel movements on the broadcast, though.

It sucks and it's dumb but it stated very clearly in the readings every golfer was given before the tourney started that that type of thing was considered a bunker. Even if he wasn't sure, all Johnson had to do was ask the rules official standing a few feet away if it was a bunker or not. He just didn't realize it but in the end, it's his responsibility.

I agree that the posted rules were clear. My problem is with those rules. I find it ridiculous that they will consider an area that they allow the gallery to trample to be a bunker. You never see this, ever, on any other championship course.

I completely agree. In the end, both sides deserve some responsibility for what happened.
