Absolutely to have at least one of these first two games, otherwise we were looking at having to beat Verlander to salvage a sweep of the Toledo ... errr I mean Detroit Tigers.

 

Also, should be noted that Kalish in place of Hermida payed dividends immediately.

Didn't get to watch this game (Braves/Reds instead) but nice to hear about Ryan Kalish. Looked pretty solid? Glad to see him get the call.

Was at work and saw we were down 4-0, suffice to say I was thrilled to get home and see we won! What an awesome night. Surprised with a win, the Saltalamacchia trade, and now seeing that Kalish got his MLB debut.
