Hi everyone!

 

Heeding my thread title's advice, I've decided to hang up my lurker shoes and join in the chant. I've been visiting this site on a daily basis for a long time. Half the time I'm laughin' my arse off, the other half of the time I'm scratching my head. But's that's usually what people are doing with me, so I hope to fit right in.

 

Bottom line: love the insight, humor and passion for the Sox on this site. Especially the humor -- Last night's GT was hilarious. BTW, I vote yeszir and his 2 fer 2 mojo to start all GT's until they lose. Or at least until Saturday (I'll be at the game).

 

You guys are really putting all the other Sox forums I've read over the years, to shame. Good on ya.

I've been faithfully stalking you guys for about 3 years. Yea, I know, that's ridiculous and embarrassing, really. No excuse and no real reason why I haven't signed up. This site has become part of my daily surf and I suppose I just got used to being a consumer not a contributor. I'm here to change that.

 

No, the Coco Quotient shouldn't figure into Saturday's game. Actually, my being at the game on Saturday should bode well for the Sox. I've been to quite a few games over the years and have only seen them lose twice. Sox+Guinness+PineRider=Manny's Demise.

Well, I suppose I should define "quite a few games" -- that's a little misleading. I moved to New England about 5 years ago, 4 of those years I lived 3 hours north of Boston, so getting to the games was a little tricky. So, all in all, I have seen them play 12 times. Still, only two losses -- that's a great W/L ratio. When I lived in San Diego for 13 years, I can tell you, the Padres were nowhere close to that kind of ratio!
