Wasn't Adrian Beltre supposed to be the worst 3B the Sox had since Hobson?

Didn't look like it there.

It's been really quiet lately' date=' where is everyone?[/quote']

When they were losing games in bunches and people wanted to bitch and moan there was a lot more activity. Doesn't make sense.

Tonight I'm picking up the TB feed, I cannot stand those announcers, there's something about them, that's irratating.

I like your enthusiasm. Stark contrast to some of the negativity around here. Stick around.

"Quiet" hit from JD Drew.

This still frustrates me. Why not put Drew in the 3 spot, and Vmart lower down? He's a better hitter, and it doesn't affect matchups since 1-2-3-4 is still going to be l-r-l-r.

When he's hot, he's on base and driving the ball almost all the time. Gotta ride the wave with him.

Hell' date=' isn't Vmart a bigger double play target too?[/quote']

Doiji has been a big proponent of Drew hitting 3rd for some time now. I wouldn't dare post the thought lest the swarm of "DREW FANBOY!!!1!!!!" posts that would follow crash my computer.

Do so at your own risk.

When Ortiz takes the outside pitch up the gap that is when he is really in a groove. He's just reacting to the pitches, waiting back and letting his hands do the work. Too bad his hands are so slow. He will start getting pitched around. Tito should move Youk to the #3 hole, with Ortiz behind him and the switch hitting VMart 5th. Youkilis and Ortiz are the two best on the team. They should be in the 3,4 holes.

Great' date=' now they're reporting that Ellsbury does have soreness in his right side... Just what I was worried about.[/quote']The radio announcers said that there soreness is in the hip area, not the chest.

Just saw the same thing on ESPNBoston.com's twitter. That's why they kept McDonald around instead of DFA

Nevermind, it does say soreness in left side. E-Me

I feel the same way I did with the Dice-K near no-no. If the pitch count is that high, its better for the team to just let the pitcher come out early than kill their arm going for it.

Scutaro has been pretty awful at the plate so far this month: .235' date=' .350, .294, .644[/quote']

He looks like he's pressing in the leadoff spot. Back to 9th plz.
