Excellent win for the REDSOX tonight.

They need to win these head to head games. This was big. They demonstrated for the first time this season that they can compete with the Rays, and they did it in their house. It would be great to follow this up with a win tomorrow.

Congrats on a well deserved win tonight guys. Buchholz pitched very well, especially when in trouble early and he set the tone for this game. I was expecting to see the Sox at their best and they didn't disappoint. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series because it's always great baseball when Boston and the Rays hook up..! :thumbsup:

Sure I was. Haven't you been following the activity on your own board? I've posted quite a bit of Rays history here from the eyes of a local fan. Maybe you were just too busy posting your disgust about Red Sox performance this season. I've noticed a lot of negativity in your posts (not that there's anything wrong with that) but if you'd rather, I can move on in an effort to make this a homer only system.
