Some one mentioned in another game thread how much they like the new NESN "score board" I agree 100%. The ball and strike count is always shown where most show the pitch speed for a time and then go back to ball/strike count. Love the pitch count showing too.

Prince...46 HR 141 RBI 1.014 OPS at age 25? I have a hard time getting past those numbers. I would do it. He is under contract through 2011. An extension would definitely have a weight clause in it.!

 

I really doubt Scot Boras would want to have anything to do with a weight clause. Plus, even if Fielder breaks the contract, they wouldn't get their prospects back. I'm not saying Fielder isn't a great player, but the risks with him are too large, no pun intended, for that kind of package.

ahhh...but you didn't say thought process... You said "punctuation laziness".. Which is it sport? I am not gonna fight with you, we are on the same team. If I wanted to carefully construct every post and run it through a punctuation, grammar, spellchecker I would post over at SOSH under my moniker there. I am passionate about the Sox.. Last time I checked this is just a forum on Red Sox baseball. Most people post on here for fun, they aren't trying to impress people and aren't working on the next most important piece of literature. Anyone who takes a freakin baseball forum too seriously either has major confidence issues or has way too much time on their hands.

Oh, and I'm not being the punctuation police. I noticed meticulous attention to detail in making sure you got the stress on all the words you wanted to, to varying degrees of stress with the caps, and the bold, and heaven forbid, he really means it, the italics bold, I just thought incongruous for the punctuation to be so perfunctory. That's all.
