VMart has a higher percentage of XBHs than Beltre and VMart is slumping badly.

 

edit: And VMart is slow as hell. He has run at least 3 XBHs into singles.

 

V-mart sucks defensively and has showed a lack of power though!

 

Scutaro only has 4 extra base hits as well and he isn't slumping.

 

Its more then just Beltre showing a lack of power.

 

Beltre, however is still getting singles.

Yeah, but you are upset about them losing games right now. "Good will" does nothing for today's games. All I'm saying is, if you are going to rake players over the coals for poor performances that lead to losses and you being upset, at least be fair and give everyone their due.

I don't fault a guy for being in a slump, because hitting is really hard. Drew had been slumping before tonight. I haven't been all over him either. I fault guys for stupid plays, and Beltre has had a boatload so far. I'll also fault guys for bad D, which Beltre, VMart and Cameron have all been guilty of playing.

After three stupid things, yeah I was gonna get on him for giving to charity. The fact is that in addition to all of his other stupid plays and poor defense, his power output has been pathetically subpar. What excuse? It was an explanation. Rooting for a team is an emotional thing. I don't have to justify my criticisms, just explain them. Stop being a jerk.
