I'm going to take a small part of the credit here seeing that about -2.3% of Red Sox fans expected Jason Varitek to hit 2 HR's tonight, plus getting 4 runs off Greinke. Birthday mojo FTW!

 

Good win to get back on track and have a few guys rest. It would be big to come back and take the series tomorrow, which I fully expect to do.

The thing I hated about extra innings was that some games werent in HD' date=' and on an HD TV, the picture was crappy. Plus, you had to deal with the home team's announcer, which were really, really bad depending on the team. MLB.tv had mostly yankees and sox announcers regardless of where they played. But the sports package from DirecTV is the best. I have YES and NESN, best of both worlds[/quote']

 

So you have MLB Extra Innings now? Since last year they have had both the home team and road team's broadcasts, so I get to watch NESN for every game. It's pretty sweet. Also, I'd say most games are televised in HD. I've seen a few so far that haven't been, but more times than not it's in HD. I love it.
