The Opening of Target Field

For what it's worth, I don't really like this, and I didn't like it when the Yankees did it last year. I feel like it cheapens the actual opening day, which I'm sure the Twins are going to make an event out of.

I never had any desire to catch a game at the Metrodome. The Twins got this one right, except I still think the fields needs a retractable roof.

Looks like the ball really carries there... Oh wait, Carl Povano's pitching. Nevermind.

 

I like the field though. There's no way they'll sell that sucker out every night, but it's nice enough. I don't like the backdrop of home plate though.
