It's not a science, but in general a top 10 pick is worth at least one or two other elite players. Kemp was taken ahead of people like Lincecum, Mauer and Ryan Howard. You should probably be getting players at that level back if you trade him.

Adding more mid round draft picks doesn't change the basic inequity of the deal. The 10th pick in the draft should fetch at least one elite player, imo.
