A few years ago John Henry left Florida when he sold the Marlins and bought the Sox. Now, Jeff Vinik goes to Florida to buy the Tampa Bay team in the NHL. Well, it could have been worse. It could have been the Tampa Bay Rays.

So, some people have a problem with my post? Is it against the law to mention other sports? Since you need an explanation: I'm saying that it is better to buy a team that is NOT in the same division as our Sox (or Bruins). The Rays are now a rival to the Red Sox, almost as bad as the Yankees. The Lightning are not like the Senators or Sabres and are far away from being a threat to the Bruins.
