Danny Ainge is a freaking idiot. They have enough problems trying to beat the Cavs. Now they have to deal with an idiot GM. They better hope James is hurting or they will not get past this round.

What?

First: Danny Ainge is an idiot for throwing a towel while the Cleveland player was at the line.

Second: The Celtics have a enough on their plate with dealing with LeBron and the Cavs.

Third: If the LeBron is not hurt, I do not see the Celtics winning the series. They are just way to good this year.

Why is this a big deal? How is it any different from Mark Cuban's antics (who I don't mind at all, it's actually refreshing to see such an involved owner) or anything a fan does? Why does he have to answer to this? Why is he an idiot? If he did this in Boston would it be as big of a deal?

I wouldn't say that it's necessarily a big deal; however, I agree with RWTP because it is f***** cheap, and you'd expect more than that from Ainge. I lost a fair amount of respect for him that day. It's one thing to be cheap and dirty as a fan of the opposing team, but it's another thing to be just as sleazy when you are an executive of the team, you know, someone who is supposed to be professional.

As for your comparison, I agree about Cuban and I do not support his antics either, so while we disagree, I'm nonetheless being consistent across the board. I think that if he was in Boston when he did this, that it would be less of a deal but it would still be noted by the media. I wouldn't say that he is an idiot (well, at least not for this reason), but I do believe that it was an idiot move that was the result of a spontaneous dumb decision rather than years of imbreeding. Ainge is better than that, or I at least like to think that.

They way Mark Cuban acts are just as ridiculous as Ainge throwing the towel into the high. Ainge is not a fan, he is the GM; therefore, he needs to act like it. What he did was unprofessional and not smart at all. Also, if Ainge did the same thing in Boston, it would have the same outcome in my eyes. You just do not act like a kid when you are in the position he is in. You do not see Theo acting like a child, nor do you see Francona acting that way either. The Celtics need to show a little more class, IMO.

Plus, I think people expect a lack of class from Cuban, so if he did it, then I doubt there would be the same media ramifications. People expect more class out of Ainge, which explains the surprise and disappointment from a normally classy individual.

Well said! I agree 110%.

Lebron off to a great start in the 1st. Plus a lot of Celtics foul trouble due to really ticky officiating. Not a good sign.

refs really like the cavs. Pretty much everything against the C's.

I completely disagree. And I would say the same thing if it was Danny Ferry under fire. Who gives two shits if they're in the front office? Who the hell is anybody to act as the morality police in this instance? Everyone just looks for any reason to find fault anywhere it can be found. Why do you find Mark Cuban's antics so ridiculous? I just see a lot of passion for a team by the guy who owns it. I would be the same way if I owned a basketball team.

And lol @ him "acting like a child." So I guess anybody who tries to distract a free throw shooter is acting like a child?

Everyone needs to back the f*** off and get off of people's backs. That's what's ridiculous.

Fantastic game tonight.

Love how they attacked Jamison and Williams.

I did kinda cheer when Big Z came on. He is a true Cav. Kinda believe that Lebron Exits if they don't win.

That game Rondo had the other night was unbelievable. This guy really elevates his game in the postseason.

I was shocked at this result. I mean damn, I didn't expect the C's to do this. Big Three woke up, but its the defense that one us the game. Everyone wants to talk about LeBron, but there is no mention of the C's great team defense.
