Whatever, as long as Pittsburgh doesn't win, then I'll be happy. Also, it seems that any of the Eastern teams will be bait for the Western Conference champion, but hey, random s*** has happened throughout the NHL playoffs thus far.

I don't want the B's coming out soft in game 3 like they did in game vs. Buffalo. We have a real chance to put the series to bed tonight if they come out like they have in games one and two Lets make it 3-0!

Krejci is vital. I think we'll all be waiting nervously until we hear confirmation that he's fine and they just had him out for precautionary reasons because it wasn't critical that he return.

So do we start Thomas so that he's the one who deals with all the punk antics of a dirty team on the brink? Or do we trust guys like Chara and Boychuk not to stand for any nonsense?

Rumor: Partially separated shoulder. Still no link. Pretty sure Kessel played with worse last year.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh crap

A source told NESN.com that Krejci needed a wheelchair when he left the building, and John Boruk of CSN Philly tweeted that Krejci broke his wrist on the play, will have surgery in Baltimore and is out for the series and likely the season.

http://www.nesn.com/2010/05/report-david-krejci-done-for-season-with-broken-wrist.html

That's that, without Krejci I just can't see us beating Pittsburgh. We'll get through the second round and I certainly won't rule out the chance for a miracle but that's probably it.

EDIT well dang this might niot be true. I really hope it isn't

Er, I think I'll go with the guy who has been fantastic in the playoffs and has got us this far, thanks. I hope that was sarcasm.

As for Krejci... dammit. Terrible news. Someone goes down literally EVERY game. Sturm, Krejci, etc. I halfway expect one of Chara's limbs to just rip off at any point now...

I heard via NESN.com that Krejci has a broken wrist and is done for the playoffs. Damn, do the injuries every stop wit this team? We can get by Philly, but Pitt who knows. He played so great in the playoffs so far man this is a tough loss. As for Thomas, do you ever give up on him? Why the hell would you start him now?

Rumors are still percolating, all of the curren ones seem to hail back to one reporter on the Flyers' circuit so nothing even close to cut and dried.

The broken wrist was reported by a cnn moonbat who twittered (tweeted) the info. before Krejci was taken to the hospital. The report that it's a broken wrist on the Globe already has a line through it (meaning the Globe thinks it's possibly crap).

Krejci - (according to NESN) is suspected of having a concussion or a separated shoulder or a broken wrist. However all rumors are a big pile of crap so stay tuned.

I keep hearing broken wrist from boston.com and bostonherald.com.... s*** he was playing so well, this is an injury thats gonna hold our scoring back. Sobotka needs to keep playing his game well and not try to go overboard, we have got vets out there like Satan, Recchi, Bergeron, Savard, who know what to do. Ryder, please man pick it up even more so. Wheeler, same. Stuart is coming back for game 4 I heard? McQuaid is hurt also, but haven't heard anything.

Just got some quasi-confirmation from Bruins twitter. Dislocated wrist. He's out for the season but will be fine for next year.

thank God it wasn't a break.

Break or dislocation are probably going to take the same time to heal and we're screwed for the playoffs. I'm not sure where God gave anyone a break here.

A dislocation means in theory that all the delicate little bones are fine and once everything's back in place and healed up, it should stay put. less chance of long term aftereffects destroying the kid's career. It doesn't affect us now, we've still lost a huge piece of our playoff puzzle, but it IMHO means that its' less likely to affect us next year -- we'll get the Krejci we're used to IOW.

So it's a bit of mercy in an otherwise absolutely disastrous situatio.

Bruins officially announce that Krejci is definitely done for the season.

In much better news, Mark Stuart is cleared to play.

Lets just bust out the brooms and sit back and watch Montreal and Pitt battle it out. We jump on Philly early with a 2-0 lead or something the game is over

I guess that I'd root for the Bruins when they beat Philly. Mainly because I hate Pittsburgh and Montreal, and I kind of like the Bruins, although part of me wants them to lose to spite them for beating Philly.

If you don't mind, I'd rather win by 1 goal in the third this time. If we go up too high too early we can count on Philly to add guys to our injured reserve.
