The fact is...this is not a team that hasn't won. Rivera, Pettitte, Posada, Jeter have won...a lot more than anyone else, to be honest. I'm not worried about this team in the post-season. If they get beat, they get beat. They won't beat themselves or let the pressure get to them.

I never claimed he said that those championships have an impact RIGHT FRIGGIN NOW. But he was implying that they somehow did have an impact on how they've played recently, which doesn't make sense in the least, because they've played very poorly recently in October. We weren't talking about over the past 80 years. We're talking recently, which I consider the past 5 or so years personally.
