I think he has as good a chance as any to show the form he's shown in prior years and that'll be an upgrade on what we have right now as a #4 starter in the playoffs.

He's not articulate. That's doesn't necessarily mean that he is stupid. He may indeed be stupid, but we can't judge that from the fact that he speaks poorly, which may explain why he avoided the press during his playing days.

Ehh. Got two of my books, getting a third tomorrow, don't know what I'll do about the last one (an accounting that's expensive as f***). Don't know the status of my payment yet, since the burser's office was closed all weekend, but they haven't booted me from the dorms.

If Beckett shits the bed with the HR ball today, I think they should give him an extra days rest or skip his next start. Texas is not going to catch us. They have to play the Angels 7 times and they are having time beating the O's. The Sox need to get Beckett right, and I think he could use a little rest.
