Wilson is a great glove, Huff is only 32. I agree about Bedard, but I still like him. Sheffield, while true, is still a valuable bat, who has accepted a bench role and is affordable.

I dont think so.

 

Wilson is better than what this years trifecta has produced. Hes not a great, or or very good offensive player, but hes a helluva lot better D wise than what we have right now.

 

I think Huff can be very productive on a good team, remember, he has never been part of a good team/lineup.

 

I think Holliday is an upgrade over Bay in all aspects. He is mashing right now, maybe showing us that Oak was a fluke, being part of that horrendous lineup.

 

A Lowell/Ortiz combo is an upgrade over what Ortiz alone has done.

 

Sheffield off the bench is a huge upgrade over the PH options right now.

 

Derosa/Mora is an upgrade to anything we have as a inf bench player right now, whether it be Green or Lowrie depending on who is starting at SS.

 

To me, this is a big upgrade to what we are running out there right now.

Delgado and Tejada are both old man. The biggest problem with this team right now is that the look old and unathletic.

 

Tejada maybe at a short deal, Delgado....no way.

 

Coco, I agree somewhat about Lars, but I still think its early. He may not be ready this year, or next.....but I think he still has some promise.

Holliday and Lackey only cost money.

 

This team has plenty of it.

 

And we have the prospects to trade for both Hanley and Gonzo.

 

But Theo has grape-sized balls.
