You guys are arguing about whether or not you said season is over or whatever.

You asked him to tell you where you said it

He quoted you..

Point.

I think you misread the posts. I said, before you guys say the season's over (not in reference to anyone) we're only down by 3 runs. And he claimed I said that someone said the season's over, and then claimed I was referencing him. Saying BEFORE YOU CLAIM THE SEASON'S OVER colloquially is not the same as claiming someone had already said the season was over.

Most likely.

There's the real Kilo! I knew you would be right back to insult all the other Red Sox fans soon enough.

Actually, he makes sense. Becket and Lester can be counted on. Other than that the Sox SP depth is build on average at best and unproven at worst pitchers.

The offense has been asleep since the Washington series. An infusion of hitting is needed or the Yankees take the division by 6-10 games and the Sox struggle to keep pace with the Rays for the wild card.

Or... we are just going through a funk. Don't forget Dice-K. If Penny/Smoltz continue to struggle we can call up Buchholz. We could also pursue Halladay. Anyways, what team has 4 or 5 above average pitchers on their team?

We will be fine. Theo will make the appropriate moves (if necessary) and we will be fine. We aren't just going to fall off the face of the earth. Step away from the ledge.

To be honest with you Crespo' date=' people on this site preferred Gom 2-1 to Jacko. Granted, Jacko does know what he's talking about, but he's so biased that his perspective is useless.[/quote']

People like Gom better because he is a lot more reactionary than I am. I used to be a lot more reactionary, but Gom now takes the cake. Thing is, Gom seems to hide when the yankees arent doing well.

Really Dutchy, chill out.

Sometimes, you gotta let some things go.

Come on Dipre, really? You're gonna single out the one sober person fielding all the insults?

Might want to consider that before you guys claim the season's over.

Sorry if i misread it. I was just trying to point this out to you.

I know what you were referencing. But how does "before you guys claim the season is over" mean that I claimed someone said the season was over?

It was a throw away comment in a game thread. It wasn't directed at anyone.

Yea you have to trust Theo. I really want a bat though.

LOL mulberry.

And I don't get calling me Crespo. Though I am kind

of honored, he's awesome.

That's exactly what Crespo would say if he had a second account. I'm curious, other than you both being conservatives, what do you have in common with him?

OOOK, I said sorry if i misread it man.

Sorry.

Don't be beefin with me too.

I don't have any beef with you at all, man. I never said anything negative towards you. I was just asking an honest question.

He was locating most of his pitches. He abandoned his breaking ball once he couldn't get it over. He was throwing more than 2/3rds of his pitches for strikes, that's a fact.

And honestly, who are you to talk about contradictory statements? You said his shoulder is hanging on by a thread and now you're denying it.

I never said his shoulder was hanging by a thread, I said that about Penny. That being said, I was just making a point. Having one sentence saying he was locating well followed directly by a statement saying he wasnt locating is contradictory.

The posters insulting each other?

I admit, I insult Jacko all the time. But I don't insult any of the Red Sox fans on this site until they insult me first, and I invite anyone here to prove me wrong on that.

And I gave you an honest answer. I must have misread the entire situation. Then you asked me another question.

Dropped.

A) You completely fabricated that I am a conservative. I'm actually pretty liberal on some issues.

B ) I bounce the question back to you; you're making the comparison.

If you're just going to lie every time you post, don't waste our time. We all know you said Smoltz' shoulder was hanging by a thread. You say the same about every Red Sox player who ever gets injured. That's why we created "the table" for you. It's dead on 2/3rds of the time.

I think the real question out of tonight is: how long do you keep going to Smoltz if he continues to struggle? I know it's still pretty early for him, but the question is still valid. Would it be possible to option him to AAA for a couple of starts if he is still struggling by his 7th or 8th start?

I'm not on the ledge. I just don't think the Sox are so deep at pitching. I don't count on Dice being back this year. If he does come back, what does he bring? Smoltz has not done anything YET.

Buck is still , on the whole, unproven in the majors. Penny's shoulder is suspect.

Where's the depth? In Toronto?
