I stand corrected. He almost never hurts himself with walks.

Exactly my point.

I know Lester and Halladay aren't in the same universe ins terms of control and command but even Doc shits the bed sometimes.

And until now, Lester's season high for walks was also 4. But he's clearly getting frustrated over this umpire and his moving strike zone.

You're a smart guy, i knew you'd pick it up.

The whole point is the "Halladay would NEVER kill himself with walks", well NEVER is an overstatement, and is proved by my post.

Yeah, fair enough. And you're right, three walks that day is a lot for Halladay. But I give him credit for being able to pitch around two of them, and, besides that, Halladay is usually much sharper.

You did a lot of research to prove that "never" really meant "almost never", when if you had just asked me if by saying "never" whether I literally meant "never", l would have conceded that "never" almost never means "never". Let me save you future research. When I use "always," I rarely mean "always."

I just find it extremely fun to argue with you, old timer. :D

Take it as a compliment because it is one.

Halladay is also a 32 year old veteran. I think the better control will come with time and experience. At Lester's current age, Halladay was pitching in his first full season in the majors.

I'm not that old. I got a couple of hits including a double in the EMC Fantasy softball game at Fenway on Tuesday.:D

Wow' date=' Tito's really flipping the f*** out, lol.[/quote']

It probably has a lot to do with the umpire's strike zone. Lester's getting squeezed and Halladay's getting pretty much anything near the plate.

All that ever matters is today's game.

If you got some pictures of your Fenway experience, it would be really neat to see them.

You mean games in 2013 don't get tacked on to our win total this year? :harhar:

Why can't we all just get along and watch the game. Is it really worth arguing over semantics?

Wall ball double?

I bet it was like the "double" the Yankees just got when the fielder cowered in terror from the ball after they lost it in the sun.

Lester has only allowed 2 hits and one was that cheapy by Milar.

I know I am perplexed by this outing?

Yeah, Lester's doing just fine. Those 2 RBI he gave up were on a good pitch down and in to Barajas. It's not like he's given up 4 or 5 runs.
