I think if the season ended today, then no. But it doesn't, and Beckett, Hernandez, and even Buehrle look like they are putting it together and getting hot...

Yes. And if that is the case, then Wakefield's name should be on the list. I know, I know, he is not a legit Cy Young candidate. But he is 11-3. Nothing to be sneezed at.

I'm more upset that Edwin Jackson is listed 8th. He has the lowest WHIP in the American League. That means nothing? Beckett's has been great in the last month and a half or so but his stats as a whole aren't that incredible. Jackson's better all across the board than every player from 4-7.

At this point, Greinke is running away with it. But Halladay will be putting the pressure on him all season long. The Jackson gripe is legit. Buehrle should also be getting more votes than Beckett.

Going into the 2nd half, Beckett looks strong. Halliday and Greinke aren't pitching like they did earlier. Halliday coming off an injury. Beckett started slowly, but is maybe the sharpest right now and may also wind up with the most wins, being on the best team.
