Him and TA will be packaged together for something. Like I said, I'd love Foster because he's a terrific backup center who can rebound and defend with the best of them. That being said he's probably too valuable to the Pacers, although a little overpaid.

Marquis Daniels commits to the C's, it has yet to be finalized. If a sign and trade with the Pacers (likely for Scal) doesn't materialize, he'll be signed for the bi-annual exception.

Scalabrine didn't play that badly last year, but he isn't worth anything near his $3+ mil salary. Danny's worst signing. I also think they're ready to give up on TA, who has trouble staying healthy. With Daniels coming off the bench, I would not be surprised to see Wallace starting at center over Perkins. That would be a devastating starting 5.

Scal would seem to be excess baggage at this point. He has been an OK sub with a good head for the game (he's smart). But Sheed's presence makes him expendable. Allen is a remarkable athlete with good defensive skills and the ability to slash. But his days in the green would seem to be over. He can't stay on the court with one injury after another.

Plus, he is not that smart.

 

Perk will remain the starting center with Wallace coming off the bench to play back up 4 and 5.

 

Daniels needs to stay healthy and limit his outside shooting while playing good team D.

Rondo/Ray/Pierce/KG/Perk is the best starting 5 in the game, as is. No need to tamper with that. Sheed is better suited to coming off the bench anyway.
