After the Rondo/Ray for Hamilton/Prince/Stuckey rumor earlier today (lol, joke).

I just got hit with Rondo/Scal/Giddens to the Grizz for Gay/Conley.

Both more than likely completely untrue and substanceless.

Do I dare guess the source site?

Don't like this for Cleveland. Shaq will clog up the middle a little too much for LeBron and he'll be shooting way too many jumpshots.

I really disagree, this only makes Cleveland better.

On one hand, I agree with Yanks and could see this potentially being subtraction by addition.

On the other hand, Anderson Varejao is the best real big man LeBron has played with (Z is strictly a jump shooter, Ben Wallace has been washed up since he joined Cleveland, and Joe Smith just isn't that great. Shaq blows all of them away, even at this stage in his career.

Its hard to see (or expect) a team to really improve on 66 wins, I think this will put them in the 57-61 range and will pay the biggest dividends deep in the playoffs.

Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson for Courtney Lee, Rafer Alston, and Tony Battie. Not yet complete.

Orlando fists themselves, NJ gets a good replacement for Carter. Amazing how many teams have yet to buy into the idea of subtraction by addition, despite example after example of it occuring almost annually.

This almost guarantees a Celtics deal, the media idiots and numerous general idiots in the NE area will mutilate Danny for not responding to the Carter and Shaq deals, especially after his public pot shots at Rondo, and wail in despair about how the Celtics are now the third banana in the east and inferior to Cleveland and Orlando. I say almost because I hope Danny's smarter than that.

Yawn. You might be the biggest pessimist of them all.

If KG was healthy, we most likely would have made the finals. Carter is a career loser, and Shaq will slow down the Cavs and clog the middle for LeBron. With the right small moves, Celtics are still the best team. Bring back Marbury, get Dahantay Jones/Trevor Ariza (Ariza is the perfect guy, but a pipe dream, really), and a long big guy, bring Davis back, bring Powe back. Powe will be healthy around mid-season and will almost be just like making a signing.

Perk/FA

KG/Davis/Scal/Powe

Pierce/FA (Jones/Ariza)

Allen/House

Rondo/Marbury

I'd be baffled if anyone thought that that wasn't the best team in the East.

I really disagree' date=' this only makes Cleveland better.[/quote']

For them I like that it puts an experienced body who knows how to win on Cleveland's front line, but they're at their best when they're running and hitting shots and lay-ups in transition. Shaq is still a very good player, but I feel like he needs the ball to be run through him to have an effect on the game offensively, and I'm not too sure how willing Cleveland will be to take the ball out of LeBron's hands.

Where the f*** did I say that the Celtics should or shouldn't make a deal or that they need to keep up with Cleveland and Orlando?

Apology accepted.

This is why I hate executives. They watch basketball all year and target their guys while watching the games, then they see them work out for a few days and change their mind because the f***ing guy didn't do well in random-ass workouts. Like workouts are half as important as the actual basketball games they will be playing. Stupid f***ing ******* executives. Kings have sealed their fate.
