Hello everyone, I am a huge sports nut and own my own retail sports merchandise store and website..... number21sports.com

 

My business name originates from the Red Sox, I grew up in Pawtucket, less than 10 minutes from McCoy Stadium and went to Pawsox games all the time. I saw Boggs and Clemens among others come up thru the system, and 21 became my favorite number at a young age because of Roger.

 

My goal of joining is to talk about the Sox, and meet more Sox fans since I am stuck in NY with all the Stankees Fans.

 

I am very excited about Jim Rice FINALLY getting into the hall, I will be in Cooperstown later this year to see him inducted.

It's interesting to note that about 2 people join the board every day. That's good. But very few of these new members actually ever make a post other than an occasional introduction. And almost non of them join the game thread.

Yes, I guess I do. I was laid-off in January and have had no luck looking for work. I'm home most of the day and check-in on the board frequently. I'm not into Sabermetrics and the whole Bill James thing. I just love watching baseball. And a lot of what I read here is just funny as s***. There are some interesting people here. I like that I can converse with Sox fans scattered around the world.
